Commentary:
This section contains my personal selection of the best picturized songs of the 1960s. In my opinion, the unquestioned master of picturizing songs during this period was Vijay Anand (Kala Bazaar, Hum Dono, Tere Ghar Ke Saamne, Guide, Teesri Manzil, Jewel Thief), with Shakti Samanta being not far behind (Kashmir Ki Kali, An Evening in Paris, Sawan Ki Ghata, Aradhana). Other directors like Raj Khosla and Yash Chopra also had many great picturizations during this period.
