Take a Trip Down Memory Lane

Welcome to my website! I hope you enjoy your visit to this site, which I have built brick by brick in my spare time over a period of several years.  A brief introduction to the site follows.

Many of us who lived in India in the second half of the 20^th century have fond memories of reading comics and books borrowed from “circulating libraries”, listening faithfully to Hindi film songs on our favorite radio stations and watching movies in an antiquated cinema hall, among other things.  This website compiles a lot of content in an organized manner to bring back these memories and will hopefully serve as a source of enjoyment for those who like to make a trip down memory lane every once in a while.

Even those of us who did not grow up in India may fondly recall the pleasures of leafing through paperback novels and comic books and indulging in one of the only options for audiovisual entertainment that was available in those days: watching a movie in a theater.  If you are nostalgic about how life was in those days and would like to revive your memories of that pre-Internet era when we were not being constantly bombarded with content on our phones, TVs or computers, this site is for you!

Finally, this is not an e-commerce website but rather a study in nostalgia for those of us who like to occasionally escape the exigencies of life in the 21^st century. You will not find any solicitations or ads here, and the site is purely for the enjoyment of my like-minded friends who have interests similar to mine.  Enjoy the journey!
