During the first part of the Silver Age, Superboy was the main feature in Adventure Comics, with a variety of secondary features including Tales of the Bizarro World and the Legion of Super-Heroes (the latter made its debut at the beginning of the Silver Age).  Starting in 1962 with issue #300, the Legion became the main feature and later took over the entire issue.  The primary creators of Legion stories for the next four years were Edmond Hamilton and John Forte, though there were other contributors as well.  Then, in 1966, writer Jim Shooter made his debut and teamed up with artist Curt Swan to produce some amazing Legion stories for the next three years.  This came to an close in 1969 with issue #381, when there was a swap: Supergirl became the primary feature in Adventure Comics and the Legion moved to the backup feature in Action Comics.
