This is a complete list of Indrajal Comics featuring Mandrake the Magician (with GEMs highlighted).  The list includes links for the following: (a) Wiki page (from the MandrakeWiki site), (b) e-book (available upon request), and (c) More info on each comic (via optional posts by various contributors).

Please note that the list is sortable by each column. (Multiple levels of sorting are possible by sorting more than one column in succession, from lowest to highest.)  You can also do an instant filtering of the table by entering a character string in the ‘Search’ field.

The mythology created by Lee Falk around the Mandrake character is truly fascinating, and it is remarkable that the essence of the character has not changed in nearly a century.  Most Indians (like myself) were introduced to Mandrake through Indrajal Comics, which is the oldest indigenously produced comic book in India.  These comics are beloved by Indians across the world who grew up between the 1960s and the 1980s.  (They were published in multiple Indian languages, which added to their attraction.)

The vast majority of the Indrajal comic books contained reprints of the daily and Sunday stories (usually with new titles), though the covers had original artwork by Indian artists.  However, the earliest Indrajal issues include Mandrake stories from King Comics.  The quality of these stories is not bad, though they are not as good as the Mandrake newspaper strips written by Lee Falk and drawn by Phil Davis and Fred Fredericks.  Once the Mandrake stories from King Comics were exhausted, the Indrajal stories were sourced from the vast supply of Mandrake daily and Sunday strips, which continued until the Indrajal era ended in 1990.
