Uncle Scrooge is a beloved character in the Disney universe, known for his love of wealth and adventure.  He made his debut as a supporting character to Donald Duck, appearing in several issues of Four Color Comics and eventually received his own Dell Comics title in 1952.  The series ran until 1962 and featured a variety of writers and artists, but the vast majority of the stories were created by the legendary cartoonist Carl Barks, also known for his work on comics featuring Donald Duck.

After the Dell series ended, Gold Key Comics picked up the Uncle Scrooge license in 1963 and began publishing their own series of comics featuring the character.  The Gold Key series lasted until 1984 (the last few being published under the Whitman brand) and continued the tradition of humorous stories featuring Uncle Scrooge and his adventures around the world in search of treasure.

Uncle Scrooge was often accompanied by supporting characters such as Donald Duck, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Gyro Gearloose and the Beagle Boys.  These characters would often become involved in Uncle Scrooge’s adventures, either as helpers or adversaries or as sources of comic relief.  Overall, the Uncle Scrooge comics have been a beloved part of the Disney universe’s history and have provided readers with countless laughs and thrilling adventures over the years.  A cover gallery of Uncle Scrooge comics can be found here.
