Please note that the list is sortable by each column. (Multiple levels of sorting are possible by sorting more than one column in succession, from lowest to highest.)  You can also do an instant filtering of the table by entering a character string in the ‘Search’ field.

Tom and Jerry was a classic animated series created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in 1940 for MGM.  The series features the iconic cat Tom and his never-ending pursuit of the elusive mouse Jerry (along with his companion Tuffy), resulting in a series of comedic hijinks and slapstick gags.  As the series grew in popularity, Tom and Jerry began appearing in comic books in 1942, as one of the features in Our Gang Comics published by Dell.  The title of the comic was changed to Tom & Jerry starting with issue #60 in 1949.  In 1962, the Tom & Jerry comics license was acquired by Gold Key Comics, which continued to publish the series until 1984 (the last few issues being published under the Whitman brand).

The comic books featured Tom and Jerry in a variety of settings, from their classic chase through the house to their travels to different countries and even outer space.  Notable writers and artists who contributed to the comic books include Walt Kelly, John Stanley, Lynn Karp and Harvey Eisenberg.  The comic books continued to showcase Tom and Jerry’s zany antics and comedic misadventures for many years, making it a beloved comic for readers of all ages.  A cover gallery of Tom & Jerry comics can be found here.
