This is a list of Gold Key comics featuring the Jetsons (with GEMs highlighted).  The Gold Key issues were preceded as well as followed by other comic brands (Dell and Whitman) which featured the same character, and these other comics are also included in the list.  For each comic listed, there are links to the following: (a) Wiki page (from the Grand Comics Database, or GCD), (b) e-book (available upon request), and (c) More info on each comic (via optional posts by various contributors).  [Note: In some cases where there is a set of consecutive issues listed as one entry, the Wiki link takes you to the first issue in the set, and the ‘Next Issue’ link will take you to the later issues.]

Please note that the list is sortable by each column. (Multiple levels of sorting are possible by sorting more than one column in succession, from lowest to highest.)  You can also do an instant filtering of the table by entering a character string in the ‘Search’ field.

The Jetsons was a classic animated television series that aired from 1962 to 1963, and it also spawned a series of comic books.  The first Jetsons comic was published by Gold Key Comics in 1963, and the series continued until 1970.  These comic books followed the same format as the television show, depicting the Jetson family’s comic adventures in a milieu of futuristic technology.  Various artists and writers contributed to the series, most notably Tony Strobl.

In their stories, the Jetsons were often accompanied by supporting characters such as Rosie the Robot and Mr. Spacely.  These characters would often become involved in the Jetsons’ wacky adventures, either as helpers or as sources of comic relief.  The stories were aimed at a younger audience and often had a moral lesson at the end.  The Jetsons comic books were very popular during their time and continue to be cherished by fans of the show and collectors of vintage comic books.  A cover gallery of Jetsons comics can be found here.
