This is a selection of fairy tales from various sources (with GEMs highlighted).  The list below includes links for several associated items which may be available online for each book: (a) Wikipedia page, (b) e-book, and (c) audiobook.  There is also a column called “More info” with links to optional posts on each book.

The fairy tales in this section are by authors other than the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, Charles Perrault and Madame d’Aulnoy (these are covered in their own sections).  Some of the stories listed here are very famous, but they are either by unknown authors or by authors who wrote just a few well-known stories.  Examples are The Three Little Pigs, Beauty and the Beast, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and The Pied Piper of Hamelin, as well as the very first fairy tale printed in English: Tom Thumb.  Many of these fairy tales were collected in Andrew Lang’s Fairy Books, which are referenced in the Comments/Collection column.  Together, these 34 fairy tales comprise a highly enjoyable collection of folklore from all over the world.

Note that the list is sortable by each column. (Multiple levels of sorting are possible by sorting more than one column in succession, from lowest to highest.)  You can also do an instant filtering of the table by entering a character string in the ‘Search’ field.
