This was one of the Super Library comic series published by Fleetway, which at 128 pages were double the length of the regular British comics. Among these, the Secret Agent series was one of my two favorites (the other being the Stupendous series). The comics alternately featured two iconic characters, Johnny Nero and Barracuda, who captivated audiences with their daring missions and heroic exploits. As with all Fleetway publications, the writing and artwork were of consistently high quality, and the extra-long comic book allowed the creators to flesh out the story and make it almost the length of a novel, which afforded twice the reading pleasure as the regular comic books. The Fleetway Super Library Secret Agent series remains a cherished part of British comics history, celebrated for its enduring contributions to the world of espionage comics.
