The Jerry Lewis comic series started life in 1952 as The Adventures of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis, featuring Jerry with his partner of many comedy movies Dean Martin.  After 40 issues, the title was renamed in 1957 as The Adventures of Jerry Lewis due to the real life breakup of the comedy team.  The Jerry Lewis comics continued to showcase the zany humor and antics that he was renowned for, and featured his signature slapstick comedy and hilarious situations.

During the latter part of its relatively long run, the Jerry Lewis comic series introduced some new recurring characters like Jerry’s nephew Renfrew and a benevolent witch named Witch Craft.  It also featured guest appearances by other DC characters like Superman, Batman, the Flash and Wonder Woman.  Notable contributors to the series included writers Cal Howard and Arnold Drake and artists Owen Fitzgerald and Bob Oksner.  A cover gallery of Jerry Lewis comics can be found here.
