The comic series Larry Harmon’s Laurel & Hardy is among the rarest of the various sets of comics listed on this website.  The series began its run in the UK in the mid-1960s under the Top Sellers brand published by Thorpe & Porter, continuing into the mid-1970s.  The comic books delighted fans with its humorous and faithful portrayal of the beloved comedy duo Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.  Unfortunately, I could not find any information available about the writers and artists who created these delightful books showcasing the timeless slapstick humor for which Laurel and Hardy were known.

Later, the comics were reprinted by Kiran Publications in India, but with a different numbering system from the originals.  While specific years of publication for the reprinted stories are not readily available (it was the mid-1980s, as far as I know), these comics played an important role in bringing the timeless humor of Laurel and Hardy to Indian readers.  This partnership between Kiran Comics  and Larry Harmon introduced a new audience to the beloved characters and their enduring legacy, contributing to their popularity and cultural impact in India’s comic book landscape.

I have a digital collection of some of the original UK comics as well as of the Indian comics, which are listed below.  Please share any comments or suggestions on this list by filling out this form.  You can use the same form to express interest in becoming a contributor to the site and also request downloadable e-files for the comics books listed below.
