This is a selection of books on philosophy and psychology (with GEMs highlighted). The list includes links for the Wikipedia page and an e-book version (if available). There is also a column called “More info” with links to optional posts on each book.
Note that the list is sortable by each column. (Multiple levels of sorting are possible by sorting more than one column in succession, from lowest to highest.) You can also do an instant filtering of the table by entering a character string in the ‘Search’ field.
The books on the list cover a range of topics including philosophy, religion, self-help and psychology. Most of them are written in an essay style, though in an engaging format that keeps your attention and interest. Some of these books such as The Road Less Traveled and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People have had a deep influence on me as I have navigated through my life and career. If you haven’t read these books yet, I highly recommend them.
